“Your story on Dr. Gottschalk ran in our August alumni newsletter, and people are loving it! Folks are spending a lot of time on that webpage (meaning they’re probably reading the whole story), and I even received a message this morning: ‘I really enjoyed reading and learning about Dr. Jay Gottschalk. Great job of writing.’ Thought I would share…job well done!”
I could not be more enthusiastic and sincere about recommending any employee than I am about recommending Sarah Carpenter. Sarah worked for me for several years at VUMC. Her contributions to our department were consistent and broad. For example, for a variety of complex technical and people reasons, we were struggling to maintain the usability and quality of a large learning center we managed. We were getting a lot of complaints from our stakeholders and the situation began to bubble over. I asked Sarah to take over management of the location and do her best to improve the environment as well as our stakeholder’s overall experience. I knew it would be a challenge. Not only did Sarah achieve both goals with flying colors but her results surpassed my expectation and we received glowing reviews from some of our most critical stakeholders! Part of what makes Sarah so successful, so often, is that she has exceptional people and relationship building skills. She also brings valuable organizational and project management skills to the plate. I give Sarah my highest recommendation!
Highly recommend Sarah for any resume updates/cover letter needs! She does a wonderful job of understanding the individual, their skills, interests and professional goals and weaving that information into a resume that highlights one's strengths. She has a wealth of experience in a variety of fields, understands what an employer is looking for, and most importantly....understands people, because she is a top notch friend and listener.
